PayPal

PayPal is a popular third party payment system that gives you the ability to easily and securely accept payments online. Ozcart supports PayPal Standard, PayPal Express Checkout and multiple PayPal Pro versions.

Integration with Ozcart

Ozcart is integrated with PayPal Standard, Express and Pro.

Once you have signed up a business account with PayPal, you then log in to your PayPal account and generate some security keys which you enter into your store as an electronic signature. Your store can then communicate with PayPal’s secure servers.

If you use PayPal’s pop-up (in-context) checkout option with PayPal Express, you’ll be able to show the PayPal credentials login in your website’s checkout without them having to redirect all the way to PayPal’s website. This keeps customers in your checkout and makes them more likely to complete the sale.

Key Facts

Third party payment services like PayPal are easy to set up, but when money clears, it does not go automatically into your bank account. This means you can use the money to make other purchases using PayPal, or to manually withdraw the money and wait for it to clear into your bank account. Not all countries support PayPal bank withdrawals.

Please see PayPal’s official page for the most up-to-date and detailed information.
