Naming your business
Naming your business can be a challenging task. It needs to represent what you sell now and in the future, be legally available and easy to remember.
Don’t make it personal
It’s not a great idea to name your business after yourself. This could make it difficult if you later wish to sell your business. Try sticking to more generic names.
Stand out from the crowd
Choose a unique name that is easy to say and remember. Do a local search in Google and make sure there is not other businesses with the same name as yours. Also be sure not to choose a name that is too similar to your competitors. You want to set yourself apart from them not look the same.
Ask for other opinions
Ask others what they think of the name you have chosen and see what their first reaction is. This way you will know if the name is easy to understand and liked right from the start.
