Those who are switching from another provider will often want to work on their new website without disrupting their live site. If that’s the case for you, what we will do is build your website on an temporary domain name instead of the domain name so you can use and test it. We call this the “staging area”.
Once you are ready to go live simply submit a support enquiry and we can make your website live on the domain name. You just need to book this in advance about 72 hours ahead of time so we can arrange to make the appropriate changes at our end, and advise you on what you need to do to make the site go live.
You do not have to “go live” until you are ready to, but you still pay your monthly fees regardless of whether your site is live – because space is reserved on the server for your site and must be maintained.
